I would like to start this week's newsletter with the most important information. We have a new addition to the Pro Shop Team. Lee and his wife Louisa had their first child last Thursday. Delilah June Baker was born at 9.02am. Both Mother and Baby are well. Congratulations to Lee.
Les Moore was victorious in the Senior's May Medal with a nett 67. He was three shots better off than second placed Peter Ridden, who had a nett 70; and four shots better off than third placed Malcolm Olliver. The CSS was 68 despite very windy conditions. Congratulations to Les.

This week I attended a TaylorMade Tour Experience Day at The London Club.
Tour Professionals David Howell, Richard Bland and Eddie Pepperell provided excellent clinics.
David Howell, former European Tour Order of Merit winner and Ryder Cup player, held a long game clinic. Richard Bland held a short game clinic and Eddie Pepperell held a Flight Scope fitting clinic.
Despite appalling weather during the morning the day was great fun and was an excellent opportunity to see European Tour players at close quarters.
Driving Range Membership
Over the last few weeks I have noticed a growing level of usage of the driving range. I'm delighted to see so many golfers practicing. To encourage more of you to follow the good example set by many we have decided to introduce a new driving range membership. The membership includes unlimited driving range balls and 2 x 30 minute golf lessons. Lee, Russell and I are all available to give the lessons. The cost of the memberships is £150 for the year.
This month we are offering a Complete Equipment Solution from PING. When you purchase a new set of PING irons in the month of May receive a free custom fitting on Flight Scope and a free lesson. Two customers have already taken advantage of this fantastic offer - Fred Simkins was fitted for a new set of Ping G25 irons last week; he achieved a 20 yard increase in distance over his old 7 iron!
