September Midweek Medal 

Congratulations to Max Smith on winning the September Midweek Medal on the 27th September. Max returned a fantastic score of gross 74, nett 66, to win the competition. Max claimed victory on countback from Scott Kemsley. Taking the final place on the podium, and continuing the good scoring, was Denis Nixon with a nett 67. 

Following their excellent rounds both Max and Scott had their handicap reduced by one shot, Max from eight to seven and Scott from fourteen to thirteen. Well played to you both. 

Alex Mullins improved his day by returning the only 2 during the competition and scooped the pot worth £42.

October Monthly Medal 

The October Medal proved to be a 'one horse race'. Jason Goodman completed the round of his life with a gross 78, nett 59!! His amazing score won the competition by an unsurprising margin of 9 shots. Continuing his recent good form, Scott Kemsley returned with a nett 68 to finish second. Third place was separated by countback between Alex Mullins and Ian Martin, with Alex recording the better back nine. 

After the 'handicap axe' was sharpened for Jason, his handicap was slashed by three shots from 19 to 16. 

Alex '2's Pot' Mullins continued his good day and shared the sweep with Greg Kemsley. Both players receiving £50 each from a rollover 2's pot.

A Successful Day

Thank you to the 8 people who attended the Callaway Demo Day at Pyecombe last Wednesday. Despite a very windy day the day was very successful with everyone experiencing the benefits of Callaway's latest products.
