Welcome back to the weekly newsletter. I've just returned from thr Foremost Annual Golf Conference where I spent two days attending seminars from the likes of Under Armour, Titleist, TaylorMade and Motocaddy on how to make your customer experience more beneficial, so I look forward to implementing these ideas in the next few weeks. Knockout Results

The end of summer has seen the conclusion to the summer knockout competitions take place. Congratulations to all the winners below:

Greg and Scott Kemsley beat Alex and Chris Mullins in the pairs and
Ian Osborne (pictured) beat Charlie Mayhew in the summer singles on the 2nd extra play-off hole

Mid-Week Comp

Congratulations to Scott Kemsley who won the November Mid-Week Stableford last Tuesday. Scott returned a creditable score of 36 points in difficult conditions to win the competition by 2 points from Hassocks’ Vice-captain Brian Austin.

Fitting news

Frank's fitting experience

At the start of the week I custom fitted Frank Dennis for a new set of PING irons. Frank has recently purchased the new PING G400 Driver and it has improved his driving hugely. After seeing the difference the new technology made to his driving he decided it was time to update his old irons too, he had previously been using G5 irons. Frank is a PING follower and wanted to try the new G400 irons.

As we already knew what club head Frank wanted we started the session by exploring many shaft options in different flexes, materials (graphite or steel) and several weight options.

After selecting the best option we then customised the length, lie and grips to Frank’s unique requirements.
