As normal, for this time of year, I have been very busy in the swing studio this week. One pupil, Paul Field has already started his winter works. He came for his second lesson a month after his first and had made dramatic improvements to his swing.
Originally Paul’s swing was too long in the backswing and ‘over the top’ in the downswing. As you can see from the image below Paul’s new position at the top of his backswing is looking great. This has enabled him to improve his swing path back to the ball, resulting in a change of ball flight – from left to right to left (Slice to Draw). By shallowing out his downswing his ball strike has also improved, meaning distance has improved too. Does a weak left to right ball flight sound familiar to you?
With lessons starting at only £30 – why not ask Santa for a better golf game this year?
