Whilst many of the more decorated players areplying their trade in America right now, itgives a great opportunity for other pros to makea name for themselves. Lee Slattery was such aplayer at the Russian Open last weekend.

The Englishman is a great example of notallowing a perceived weakness to stand in theway of victory. We all have areas we're moreaccomplished at than others: you could bebrilliant off the tee but struggle around thegreens, or vice versa. 

Slattery openly admits his short game has beenletting him down recently so it would have beena real surprise to him that the shot of the daywas his chip in on 17. Playing from thick roughabove the hole, he didn't have much green toplay with but played a perfectly weighted chipthat dropped in the bottom of the cup.
