Last Friday morning I fitted ColinPrior who was looking to gaindistance he has lost with age. A familiar storywe hear during lessons and custom fits. Aftertrying several different shaft options andoptimising the loft and set-up of the driver wewere able to deliver an increase of19 yards! or two clubs lessinto the green. With his own driver, TaylorMadeBurner, Colin averaged 175 yards with theCallaway Great Big Bertha driver Colin averaged194 yards. A huge difference!

Angle of Attack and Swing Path 

Do you suffer from a slice?Unfortunately for many of you the answer will beyes. One of the main reasons for this is a stepangle of attack and an out-to-in swing path.This is something I regularly see during mylessons. Please see below two pupils I have beenhelping recently to shallow their angle ofattack which will results in a square swingpath, this in turn will produce a straighterball shape - Jamie Taylor and Julian Deans. Asdemonstrated by Adam Scott here, the club shouldcome down the right forearm from thedown-the-line camera position.
