December Medal
Congratulations to Brian Austin whowon the December Medal last weekend in awfulconditions. Brian returned an excellent score ofnett 71 to win the competition on countback fromLee Preston. Lee, having stormed round the frontnine holes, couldn't hold on to his score allthe way back to the clubhouse to claim victory.Joe Leonard completed the podium with a nettscore of 73.
No twos were recorded on the day; therefore itis a rollover pot to the next competition.
Nearest the Pin Challenge
Last Saturday afternoon we held aNearest the Pin Challenge to celebrate thelaunch of our new indoor Swing Studio. Everyonewho entered was given six balls at the pin whichwas 150 yards away. Hassocks member TimOsman recorded victory with anexcellent shot that finished 4 foot 6 inchesfrom the pin.
Tim claimed the prize of an hour lesson in theSwing Studio, not that it lasted long as heenjoyed his time on Saturday so much he hasalready taken advantage of his prize onWednesday!
