Greetings golfers,
The last week at the club has been very eventful with the course closing last Friday because of the snowfall Thursday evening. I'm personally very pleased it didn't last long (much to the disappointment of my daughter!) and we were open for business again by Saturday morning.
The snow did not stop us having a busy afternoon last Friday, with lessons and custom fittings continuing despite the weather outside - it is always warm and dry in the swing studio.
Charlie Nobbs is pictured left being fitted for a TaylorMade M1 2017 and pictured right is Patrick Spencer, shown working on his swing during a lesson - both these were taken last Friday during the course closure.
Please see below our rates for hiring the studio, which is perfect when the weather doesn't permit your regular golfing fix - whether it's practicing on the virtual driving range or playing one of the many famous courses on the simulator. Courses include Augusta, Pebble Beach, TPC Sawgrass and many more.
Our system has a 4 player mode so the costs can be split between your 4 ball:
- One Hour - £30
- Two Hours - £45
- Three Hours - £60 - just £15 per person for a 4 ball!

January Stableford
In truly awful conditions, 17 very brave members faced the elements on Sunday morning, many made the decision after arriving at the club they would go home just as quickly! Following the snow on Friday and sun on Saturday the British weather delivered a day of rain on Sunday.
The winning score reflected the tough playing conditions faced by the competitors with Jamie Houslop returning with a score of 37 points to claim victory, well played Jamie. Stuart Allbury finished second losing out on countback to Jamie - 17 points to 19 points on the back nine. Third place was won by Robert Chamberlain with a very good return of 36 points. Well done to everyone who completed their rounds.
No 2's were recorded on the day, therefore a rollover pot of £30 will go forward to the next weekend competition - this Saturday (21st January).

Titleist Trial Sets
