Kathleen Rider Foursomes - The team of Janet Ridden, Kathy Sage, Margaret Crook and Olga Jeffs travelled to Copthorne Golf Club on 17th June to compete in the above County competition. Both pairings had to play off reduced combined handicaps and, against the best teams in the county, finished a creditable 37th out of 49. Kathy and Janet were one of only 25 pairs from 98 to achieve a score of 30 or more points, a good effort from their reduced handicap.
Invitation Day - 14 pairs played on a lovely sunny day on 25th June in our annual Invitation Day. The course was in fabulous condition with the fast greens proving tricky for some of our visitors. We held a ball, bottle and sock sweep and raised £70 for this year's charity, a terrific effort. The runners up were Ann Austin and Katie Taylor (Worthing), the winners being Janet Ridden and Pat Currie (Holtye).
Last Wednesday we held out annual Titleist Demo Day. The event was well attended with the Titleist Custom Fit expert, Jack, fitting numerous people on the day. All experiencing the fantastic equipment available from Titleist this year.
If you would like to experience a demo day but have never been before you do not have to wait long for the next one at Hassocks. For the first time ever our TaylorMade Demo Day will be held at a weekend, taking place on Saturday 26th July. The day will run from 10.30am until 3.30pm.
