Golf Show 2015 

I'm delighted and very proud to inform you Ihave been nominated by Foremost Golf for 'EMPProfessional of the Year'. I'm on shortlist of 4professionals from throughout the UK, selectedfrom approximately 1,000 pros. This is thesecond year in a row I have been selected forthe award. Fingers crossed I can bring the awardback to Hassocks this year by going one better!The awards ceremony will take place at the GolfTrade Show next Wednesday evening in Harrogate.Lee and I will be attending the Golf Trade Shownext week to view all the latest new product fornext season. 


 

SeptemberMidweek Medal 

Congratulations to Malcolm Combes who won theSeptember Midweek Medal last Tuesday. Malcolmreturned a very good nett score of 69 to win thecompetition by one shot from 2 other players. MatthewPlatt and TomAye-Moungfinished with nett 70s with Matt claiming secondplace on countback from Tom. I'm delighted tosee Malcolm is still playing very good golffollowing the huge improvements we made to hisgame through the summer, Malcolm completed the'Game Improvement Champion' lesson program. 

Tom Aye-Moung returned the only 2 during thecompetition and scooped a roll over 2's potworth £50. £25 per shot - not bad work! Wellplayed Tom.


 

Parafix Winter League 

Steve Baughwill continue as Hassocks 2015/16 Parafix WinterLeague Captain. He hopes to improve on theteam's fantastic achievement of finishing secondin the league last year. The team will startwith two away fixtures at Mid Sussex and SingingHills on 18th and 25th October respectively,probably our most difficult fixtures of theseason, so Steve really wants to select thestrongest of teams. 

Availability lists for both fixture are now onthe men's board. If you are interested in beinginvolved please put your name down includingcontact details. Selection will be madeapproximately 10 days before each fixture.
